5th Mar - Well done to Tom Bolland on winning the under 13 boys competition at the South Yorkshire schools and qualifying for the National Final. Commiserations to Bradley Wood who lost a close semi-final to Tom.  Local Leagues page updated.

24th Feb - Congratulations to the British League B Team of Lance Webster, Chris Cattell, Richard Element, Steven Arliss, Mark Johnson and Jamie Hudd on finishing second in Division Four North of the Senior British League. Wins this weekend over Isle of Man, Uxbridge and Drumchapel secured the runners-up spot behind Northfield. A weakened A team manage to win twice and finish in mid table in Division One North. 14th February - A tremendous performance from the Junior British League Squad of Mark Johnson, James Grayson and Jamie Hudd sees them with Division 3B at Wolverhampton last weekend. 6th February - Best wishes to James, Jamie and Mark who are playing in the Junior British League this weekend. Excellent  performances from all 5 players in the National Cadet League last Sunday at Bradford. The A team only just failed to inflict the first defeat on Oakbank. Well done to Mark Johnson the new Sheffield Junior champion and runner-up in the U21s to Paul Johnson. 31st January - Good luck to the players playing in the National Cadet League, the Stiga 2* and the Sheffield Closed on Sunday.

1st January - An excellent Supa8s competition was held on Tuesday 30th December - Well done to all the players who took part and especially to the winners Mark Johnson, Tim Bruce and Bradley Wood. Draw page updated.

20th December - The A team in the National Cadet League again finish 3rd in Division 2 but do better against the top two teams. The B team of Tom Bruce, Scott Preece and Kevin Ngan also do very well and finish 4th.

9th December - National Cadet League this Sunday at Dearne Valley setting up at 9, starting at 10, helpers or spectators welcome !! Local League page updated.

3rd December - Good weekend in the British League, the B team won one and drew 3 to consolidate second place and the a team drew 2 and won one to move to equal fourth place. Report to follow. 11th November - The Saturday session at Wickersley is been split into 2, further details on the Club Coaching page. Good wins for the A, C and D  teams in the Rotherham league against the B, F and D teams in a Scorpions derby week.

2nd November - Rotherham Scorpions Junior Table Tennis Club are please to announce that that are to receive a donation of £500 from the Mars Refuel Chocolate Drink Fund. 26th October - The Junior British League team of Jamie Hudd, James Grayson and Mark Johnson lead Division 3B after the first weekend, well done to all 3 players. The A team of Tom Bolland, Lewis Robinson and Bradley Wood finish 3rd in Division 2 after the first day of the National Cadet League against much older and more experienced opposition. The B team battle hard without much success, but their time will come. All teams doing well in local league at the moment, see latest reports on Local League pages. The first session at Wickersley yesterday went well. Major announcement will be made in the next week about some excellent news for the club. Watch this space !!

3rd October - Tomorrow is the last ever session at Herringthorpe. :(   Good weekend for the B team in the Senior British League with 3 wins, but a mixed weekend for the A team  with a win and draw and two defeats. Local League season started 3 weeks ago in Sheffield and the B team are still unbeaten, Rotherham started last week with the young A team getting a hard earned victory over JSM A, with James Grayson leading the way with a hat-trick.
