25th May - Good start for all 4 teams in the Sheffield Summer League. Good luck to all players playing in the Stiga 2* today. No coaching session tomorrow at Dearne Valley because of the Bank Holiday.

9th May - Tomorrow (10th May) is Alan Dunn's last coaching session for the foreseeable future. The club will be hiring Herringthorpe Leisure Centre to enable the Saturday sessions to continue but there will only be one session from 11am until 1pm for players of all ages and abilities. This will be run by predominantly by club members with assistance from high quality local players. Monday sessions will continue at Dearne Valley College from 7pm until 10pm, but the Wednesday sessions at Thrybergh Sports Centre have now ceased.

5th May - Well done to the Sheffield B Team of Jamie Hudd, Dan Elvidge and Will Boardman for winning the lower section cup and to the Rotherham A team of Richard Element, Craig Hastie and Shaun O'Neil for winning the Rotherham cup by one point. The A Team also are runners up in Division One in Rotherham well done to Stuart Wallace, Mark Johnson, Richard, Shaun, Jamie and Craig.

 13th April - Local League page updated. Congratulations to the Sheffield B team for winning division 5 and also reaching the final of the lower section cup.

21st March - Apologies about the lack of sessions due to Big Al's bad back. The next session will be Monday 31st March at Dearne Valley. I will post on here the next Saturday session date as soon as I know.

16th March - Well done to the Cadet Team of Eddie Lau, Mathius Morawski, Jake Crosby and Dan Elvidge for winning the National Cadet League (Yorkshire Region) today at Dearne Valley.

4th March - Congratulations to Scott Hollowood on being picked to represent England last weekend in Spain. Well done to South Yorkshire Cadets for coming 4th and almost 2nd in the County Championship, the team included Scott and James Grayson. The South Yorkshire Junior team that included Richard Element won their division and are promoted back to the Premier Division. Other good performances include Eleanor Long reaching the quarter finals in the recent Chandlers Tournament, James Grayson reaching the final in the Stiga 3* at Widnes and Mark Johnson losing in the semi final of the Juniors and the Open Singles at the Sheffield Closed. Good luck to everyone playing tin this weekends Derby 4*.

27th Feb - Apologies for the lack of recent updates. The Junior British League team of James Grayson, Richard Element Jamie Hudd and Mark Johnson do well to finish 3rd in Division 3B after being bottom at the halfway stage. In the Senior British League the A team battled hard to stay in Division One and eventually finish 5th, the B team have some narrow defeats before coming fifth in Division Four in poor conditions at Hull. 27th Jan - Local Leagues page updated. Another good performance from the Cadet Team of Eddie Lau, Mathius Morawski and Dan Elvidge sees them unbeaten in week 3.

4th Jan - Well done to the Cadet team of Eddie Lau, Mathius Morawski, Jake Crosby and Dan Elvidge after another unbeaten performance sees them lead the National Cadet League. Local League and Monthly Draw pages updated.

10th Dec - Good weekend for the B Team who win three and draw one in the Senior British League Division 4. Well done to Richard Element for winning 7 out of 8. The A Team in Division 1 won one and drew one on Saturday, but with a stronger team lost both on Sunday, Matthew Dodds starring winning 7 out of 8. Local League Page updated including a link to the Sheffield website where there is a good report about the B team, who top Division 5.

4th Dec - Well done to James Grayson in coming first in the under 15s at the Yorkshire Regional Trials and to Jamie Hudd and Scott Hollowood for coming 4th in their respective age groups. Local League Pages and National Rankings Pages updated.

30th Nov - Best wishes to James, Jamie and Scott who playing in the Regional Trials tomorrow. Well done to Richard Element for winning the Graded Junior event at last Saturdays Grantham 1*.
